About Affinity Events Ltd
Mission
Affinity aims to support its clients in their event planning and production.
We want your event to be successful, safe, hassle-free, professional and cost-effective.
Our approach is first to understand your vision of your event and then to support you in delivering it. Our standards of service, loyalty and integrity are high.
Affinity's team is skilled and experienced. We understand event organisation inside out, from health and safety to stewarding, from traffic management to toilets, from licensing authorities to light and sound. We can guide you through the maze of planning, so you can concentrate on the results.
We prioritise building strong relationships with our clients. As we aim to embrace your ethos and vision, we hope our team will become an extension of your team. On site and on the phone, we pledge to represent you in a professional manner.
We will always listen to you, carefully assess your needs and aspirations, work within your budget and advise you without prejudice.
Company History
Affinity Events was founded in 2001 to provide good quality, cost-effective event management.
Managing Director Alan Wallace had previous management responsibility for many events across the UK, including large outdoor events such as the annual GreenBelt Festival, as well as corporate launches of The Miracle Maker film and a sixteen-date promotional tour for the Bible Society.
Prior to that, Alan was National Youth Officer for a large international charity where he was responsible for organising more than 100 events a year.
Director Liz Wallace brings organisational, creative and financial skills from her role within an international charity. She has worked all over the world. Immmediately prior to forming Affinity, Liz worked as tour manager for a series of one-day conferences for a national charity.
In 2002, the company moved to Chepstow, where it has continued to grow and expand its team, working on an increasing number of events each year.
Director of Operations Ben Warlow was promoted to the board of directors in 2007. Ben has been at Affinity since 2005 and is a proficient business, event and client manager.
