Oct ’06 Event – National Indoor Arena
Affinity Events were appointed event managers for the Oct06 youth event which took place at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham. Affinity helped CYS with a complete event management service, as well as providing technical support and equipment. We also managed the ticketing process (including online sales).

We are pleased to continue our relationship with The Association for Coaching by providing delegate registration and onsite delegate services for their latest conference which has taken place in Scotland. Affinity has been working with the Association for a number of years.

AOG have been organising an annual conference for a number of years but poor experience with equipment and venues led the AOG conference team to Affinity Events. Following an extensive venue search, Affinity recommended the Blackpool Winter Gardens – a venue we know well from our work with MAYC.
Once the venue was confirmed we were pleased to be approached to help deliver the event in partnership with AOG.
Working with the conference team we provided extensive pre-event planning and production management, as well as assisting with delegate management services by providing online booking and hotel accommodation searching.
The event took over the whole of the Winter Gardens, providing a main auditorium for around 2,000 delegates, as well as children’s, youth areas and restaurant food courts

Affinity Events worked with Purpose Driven for just under a year on their first European conference – attended by 1000 delegates at Nottingham Arena. The team managed all technical aspects, logistics and production as well as the online delegate registration and ticketing.

Affinity Events spent two years working on this international conference for 400 delegates from over 100 countries.
In addition to finding the venue, and specifying and booking all technical equipment, the team were responsible for taking bookings via a website, allocating rooms and transporting all of the delegates from London to the hotel in South Wales. The team of fifteen were on site in both London and Newport to ensure that event ran exactly to plan.

Affinity registered all delegates, took credit card payments and operated a virtual event office – answering questions by email and phone.
