Christian Aid – Make Poverty History – Trafalgar Square

With just a few weeks notice, Christian Aid approached Affinity Events to help with their plans to march on Downing Street, as part of the Make Poverty History campaign.  Affinity were tasked with providing technical equipment for the fringe venues.  The team from Affinity arranged meetings and site visits within the space of just a few days, to ensure that the equipment provision was suitable and adequate for the venue.

Our Production manager worked with the venue, organisers and artistes to ensure that sound, lighting and AV systems were suitable.  Although the event was fast paced and ran from midnight until 4am, the team on site worked around other events, London traffic and strict restrictions to ensure that the event ran to schedule.
