Social Action Events
Affinity can support campaigning organisations, charities and businesses to run events in support of a particular cause.
We are used to running media-focused, mass participation indoor and outdoor events to raise awareness and funds.
Social action events aren't new but regulations regarding health & safety, emergency planning and the wellbeing of members of the public are constantly changing. Affinity can provide the assistance and expertise you need.
We can help with road closures, public demonstrations and the pitfalls associated with 'contentious' causes. In 2007, we were involved in a number of high profile social action events including Making Our Mark and a number of 'Cut the Carbon' events.
Affinity has assisted in the delivery of events for thousands of people, with media coverage including BBC News, Sky News, national radio and international satellite channels. We have worked with large police and stewarding teams, local and national authorities and are confident in ensuring all parties work for the benefit of the event.
